We are very flexible, but as a guide: - Formal seating for business conferences or meetings - up to 200 people. Formal receptions, dinners and luncheons - 150 people. Informal parties - up to 200 people. We also have a projector and screen for conferences and presentations.

Morpeth rugby club has recently completed the total refurbishment of the club premises as part of the clubs 50th birthday and the dawn of the new millennium. This project has entailed a lot of hard work in planning and carrying out and has involved the building of a new roof and the reorganisation within the building to prove an exciting new venue of modern character. The main room can seat up to 200 people in a formal business way or up to around 150 in a more informal, sociable and comfortable manner around our popular new round dining tables. Your own needs can be accommodated by our flexible arrangements that make it a venue ideally suited for parties, conferences or wedding receptions.

A dance floor now forms part of the main function room and can be arranged within the room to meet your own special requirements.Our new bar is now the highlight of the accommodation and one that we are very proud of. This excellent facility offers a superb setting for those casual meetings and provides an appropriate venue for the more organised occasion. Either way the bar provides an exciting focal point for meeting for a relaxing drink and chat. The newly equipped kitchen means that, whether you require to prepare a cooked meal or simply to lay out a buffet, it can be undertaken with the best of modern equipment in a well equipped and laid out kitchen. The adjoining car park has also been recently improved and now offers free and convenient parking with excellent lighting. No more struggling to your car or taxi.

The clubhouse stands in the very attractive surroundings of the Wansbeck Valley and views of the beautiful landscape of this part of Morpeth can be greatly appreciated from the clubhouse. The natural woods and hillside in which the clubhouse stands provide the ideal location for all-important photographic opportunity associated with your special event or occasion. Many visitors will already be aware of the attractive first floor lounge with its balcony and superb views. We are pleased to say that despite all the changes this popular facility has been retained and enhanced and is available for that smaller function which may not require the space available in the main room. Needless to say this lounge also has an attractive bar which is excellent for providing the personal touch for that more intimate meeting or party....
